Hi there— I’m Vanessa Saleh, an illustrator and design artist passionate about expressing myself through creativity. With a background in apparel and graphic design, I spent years trying to make a living being a little creative in industries that felt more “acceptable” than simply calling myself an artist. For the longest time, I didn’t believe I could claim that title—I thought I had to fit a mold or meet expectations that weren’t even mine. But here I am, letting go of the fear, embracing creativity, and finally owning it: I am an artist.
I primarily create digitally (Procreate + Adobe Illustrator) but love experimenting with watercolors, alcohol markers, and acrylics. At its core, my art is about joy, curiosity, and giving myself the freedom to create without fear.
Becoming an artist—or rather, admitting I always was one—was a deeply personal journey. It took years of unlearning, healing, and asking myself: What do I actually love to do? The answer was always art. And honestly, my daughter was the biggest push. I wanted to show her what it looks like to choose yourself, to explore freely, and to embrace creativity wholeheartedly.
Because of this journey, I’m passionate about encouraging others to do the same—whether you’re just beginning to explore your creativity or realizing there’s something deeper inside you that needs tending to in order to get to live a fully creative life. Please feel free to explore my work, join a workshop or just stay a while to fill your cup with some creative inspiration.

Hello!
Why Work With Me
If you're looking for perfectly polished, factory-made vibes… you might be in the wrong place 😅
But if you're looking for intentional creativity, thoughtful connection, and a space where ideas get to breathe—hi, I'm your girl.
Whether it’s joining a workshop to rekindle your creativity, dreaming up a mural that tells a story, or licensing art that feels genuine —I bring more than just paint and pixels. I bring intention and a sprinkle of magic to everything I do.
-
I love color, texture, and playful—but every brushstroke or workshop has intention behind it. I blend fun and function—offering artwork and experiences that are visually joyful and emotionally meaningful. Whether it’s a postcard, a lettering piece, or a full-scale mural, I bring both play and purpose to the table.
-
My workshops and sessions aren’t just about art—they’re about giving people a safe space to breathe, explore, and remember they’re allowed to take up space, too. I believe in making room—for the creative spark, for the quiet ones, for the ones who forgot they were artists, and for the ones just looking to reconnect.
-
I’m not here to pretend I have it all figured out—I’m here to create from a place of honesty. My journey back to art came through healing, identity shifts, and a lot of inner work. That means everything I make, teach, or share comes with a side of authenticity and depth. If you're looking for someone who gets the messy middle and still shows up creatively—you’ve found her.
